College Credits

Many of our students have received from different universities in the U.S. and Canada college credit for their studies trough WAYRA Instituto de Español.

Students wishing to receive college credit for their Spanish courses in Costa Rica should contact their university and make arrangements to receive credits before they come to study with the Tamarindo Spanish School.

Upon arrival, students need to inform us about their university requirements, present documentation and inform the school if exams are required.

Each university or college has a somewhat different system for granting credit so if a student is interested in this option, we can work with their Spanish or Study Abroad department to set up a program that will meet their specific credit requirements.

In order to meet the requirements for credit we provide students and universities with the following documents:

• Confirmation of enrollment
• After completing the course: a certificate of attendance and a letter stating the Spanish level and the total amount of hours completed
